Moses: Man of Dedication
Should he go forward or backward? If he went forward, he would likely drown. If he went backward he would be killed by the people who were chasing him. So what did he do? He followed the direction laid out for him by God and went forward through the sea on dry ground to safety on the other side.
Like Moses, we’ve all been between a rock and a hard place in our lives. We have had trouble nipping at our heels and heartache staring us in the face. Some choice! What do we do? We do what Moses did! We follow God’s direction through the trouble or heartache to safety on the other side. Moses’ choice was to go forward or turn from following God. He made that choice every morning. That’s also our choice every day.
Over the next several weeks, you will be lead on a incredible journey, not only through the Red Sea and the desert, but deep into the heart of Moses himself.
